JSC «IDGC of centre and
Volga region» summed up the results of the second annual competition «The
energy of creation» regarding the best interpretation in mass media of the
activities performed by the power supplier and the nine regional branches
thereof: «Valdimirenergo», «Ivenergo», «Kalugaenergo», «Kirovenergo»,
«Marienergo», «Nizhnovenergo», «Ryazanenergo», «Tulenergo», «Udmurtenergo».
The journalists of the
regional periodical press, radio and TV journalists the notes thereof had
been printed or shown within December 2, 2008 – December 2, 2009
participated in the competition. The competition results were traditionally
summed up on the eve of the professional holiday of power engineering
specialists to be celebrated on December 22nd.
The competition jury
estimated first of all the variety of genres chosen for interpretation of
the power engineering matters, fair interpretation of the events and the
competence level.
The winners were
determined in 4 categories considering all the works and papers presented
at the competition. The winners will be awarded with diplomas and valuable
prizes.
Here are the winners in
the category «The best pressman»: Sergey Shalagin representing the republic of Mari El took the first place, Nadezhda Bondarenko
writing for the newspaper «Udmurtskaya pravda» took the second place, Anna
Semenova engaged by the Ivanovo newspaper «The private entrepreneur – PRO version» took the third
place.
Alexander Kondrashov
representing BC «Kremlin» (Nizhny Novgorod) was called the best TV journalist;
a correspondent of Ryazan regional radio Svetlana Fomina was considered the best radio
journalist.
Vladimir Sychov
representing BC «region 43» (Kirov region), the author and director of social
TV spots aimed at prevention of children’s injury caused by electricity was
the best in the category «For the best interpretation of the topic
dedicated to prevention of injury caused by electricity».
«Fair and competent
interpretation of the key power engineering matters are the priorities for
us as far as cooperation with the pressmen is concerned. Namely the
pressmen are to notify people on our activities, to inform them on the
steps taken by the company to improve reliability of power supply of the
consumers, to promote the development of electric grid complex. We have
revealed in the course of the analysis of the competition works that the
regional journalists not only interpreted the activities of the company
well, but raised knowledgeably crucial issues of power engineering, and
wrote about the power engineering specialist providing light and heat for
people», - deputy chief executive director on controlling and external
relations of JSC «IDGC of Centre and Volga region» Irina Yashanina
emphasized.
