Since childhood everybody believes that wonders
happen and all dreams come true on the New Year's Eve. And children without
family – without care of the dears and nears – wait for wonders cordially.
That is why the power engineering specialists of JSC «IDGC of Centre and
Volga region» have the custom to prepare a real entertaining program for
children with wishes coming true and gifts granting on the eve of the New
Year. As a year before, the employees of the power supplier held the New
Year’s charitable action «The brightest New Year’s tree» at the children’s
correction home (boarding school ¹8) in Nizhny Novgorod on December 25,
2009.
The employees of JSC «IDGC of Centre and Volga
region» have been collecting money to buy gifts and presents for the pupils
of the school in December 2009. The personnel of the power supplier managed
to buy not only sweets but gifts the children are required with for
development and comfortable living due to contribution of each employee of
the company. So, they bought LCD-TV sets with DVD, DVD-players, irons,
ironing-boards, a music centre, and toys for junior pupils, embroidery kits
and 120 sweet gifts. The power engineering specialists have given children
all those presents today.
«The employees of our company worry about the
destiny of the pupils of the correction home: we realize that it is very
difficult for orphans to live, - deputy chief executive director on
corporate governance Lada Podolskaya said. – And lack of care and affection
is very vivid on the greatest and family holiday of the year – the New
Year’s Day, that is why we are anxious that children get the piece of
attention, we wish them good luck and all wishes fulfilled».
Besides, a merry New Year entertaining program
was specially prepared for children. Santa Claus (Father Christmas), Snow
Maiden and other fairytale heroes spent the whole day with children. The
children were especially impressed with trained animals – a dog and a
monkey. And the children in their turn also prepared an entertaining party
with poetry reading and dancing for their adult guests.
The chief executive officer of JSC «IDGC of
Centre and Volga region» Evgeny Ushakov supposes that the New Year’s party
prepared by the power engineering specialists for children is the most
important event for the company personnel on the New Year's Eve: «Such the
charitable action is annually accomplished by all the branches of IDGC of
Centre and Volga region. Though we cannot substitute children’s family but
we can share our warm-heartedness and do our best to meet part of their
wishes. We also hope that the coming year will be happy for the children
and let them get relatives».
