A meeting between the representatives of JSC «IDGC
of Centre and Volga region» and the members of all-Russia public organization «OPORA
Rossii (Support of Russia) took place in Nizhny Novgorod
on July 8, 2010.
Small and medium-sized business is one of the largest company
consumers of services rendered by the power supplier in the regions within the
attendance scope thereof. The executives of JSC «IDGC of Centre and Volga
region» carry on a dialogue with businessmen on process connection and retrofit
of the grid complex understanding that the development of the institution of entrepreneurship
is the essential condition of favorable economic situation in the constituents
of the Russian Federation.
Let us remind, that JSC «Holding IDGC» (possesses
50,4% shares of the Company) and «OPORA Rossii» entered into an agreement for
cooperation on October 28, 2009. The specified agreement envisaged certain
joint measures to be carried out. The meeting of the parties took place within the
bounds of the agreement implementation. Deputy chief executive officer on technical
affairs – chief engineer of the company Sergey Andrus, deputy chief executive officer
– director of the branch «Nizhnovenergo» Oleg Shavin, and the heads of the functional
departments participated in the meeting on behalf of JSC «IDGC of Centre and Volga region». A presidium member, the Chairman of the committee
for power engineering of «OPORA Rossii» Mikhail Kolesnikov, the head of the regional
committee for power engineering Leonid Kotov and the executive director of the
regional branch of «OPORA Rossii» Irina Voinova represented the public
organization.
The meeting participants discussed a number of crucial
problems, including the practice of process connection to the grid of the small
and medium-sized business agents, the aspects of energy efficiency and energy
conservation. They also debated for possible scientific and technical cooperation
of the company and businessmen, implementation of principles and mechanisms of
reasonable resources distribution in case of concessional connection, the
participation of small and medium-sized business in the grid complex
development.
Sergey Andrus emphasized the importance of such
the joint sessions of power engineering specialists and businessmen by results of
the meeting: «Regular bilateral meetings help elaborate the common strategy
regarding such difficult aspects as providing favourable conditions for
involving domestic small and medium-sized enterprises in the development and
manufacturing products and services promoting the grid complex development. One
shall understand that now both power engineering specialists and businessmen mould
the economic infrastructure of the regions, so it is extremely important to
build-up constructive dialogue with businessmen».
